Take a Wild Guess was written in 2007 for string quartet Ethel with financial support from the FPA and premiered May 7 2008 at Tribeca New Music Festival NYC.  The Wall Street Journal wrote: ‘JacobTV’s new work makes hip-hop look sedate’. Take a Wild Guess is the continuing story of Grab it! from 1999 about life behind bars, based on original speech samples by inmates. It comes in a long and a short version.Arranged for both string quartet and sax quartet as well as a recent electric guitar arrangement by Emmanuel Graglia.
