Glacier, for cello solo, is composed for and dedicated to Quirine Viersen, with financial support from the Dutch Cello Biennial and the Amsterdam Art Fund. Glacier was created in close collaboration with Quirine and premiered October 23 2018 at the Cello Biennial , at the Amsterdam Muziekgebouw. Glacier refers to the worldwide global warming concern. It has 3 movements: largo, lento, andante.
