Farewell Feathered Friends No.2, for solo violin & soundscape with concert video was written in 2020, commissioned by Marcel & Tineke Creemers and is dedicated to violinist Edwin Blankenstijn. The première took place 7-3-2021 at Zonheuvel Zomernachtconcerten in the Dutch village of Doorn.

The composition was inspired by the call of 7 different endangered birds in the Netherlands. Melody and rhythm of the bird songs are the leitmotifs for the composition. The accompanying electronic soundscape contains those 7 original bird songs.
Marcel Creemers created a concert video to the composition.
