1959 - 1968 | Playing recorder and flute at local music school in Winschoten. Discovering Bob Dylan, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, John Coltrane etc. |
1968 - 1980 | Practicing improvisation, playing blues, rock, free jazz in different bands, on flute, bass guitar, keyboards, alto sax, mouth harp. Composing electronic music in the studio in Groningen |
1971 - 1980 | Study school music, composition and electronic music at Groningen Conservatory with Luctor Ponse and Willem Frederik Bon Early works ( Massief, Versleten Liedje, Beat Tells Me So) performed at Oosterpoort |
1976 | Opera Movements & Mottoballen premiered at Groningen Oosterpoort by students of conservatoire and Minerva art school |
